Ganger CNC Puts New 5-axis Waterjet Into Testing: Auto Height Compensation Meets Galvanized Build

Ganger CNC has begun factory testing of its latest waterjet cutting machine, the GW1150. The unit pairs a built-in height sensor with automatic

compensation, ensuring consistent cuts across varying slab thicknesses. A galvanized steel structure and tilting table add durability and handling

flexibility, meeting the demands of complex custom fabrication jobs.

The GW1150 works over a 4,000 × 2,000 × 150 mm cutting envelope, with 0.05 mm linear positioning accuracy and ±0.03 mm repositioning

repeatability. Its 37 kW pump delivers up to 4,200 bar, driving a standard abrasive waterjet head through granite, marble, quartz and sintered

stone with reliable ±0.1 mm cut precision.

A compact five-axis cutting head enables accurate bevel and taper-controlled cutting, while high-speed motors and servo drives shorten cycle

times without sacrificing quality. A freely rotating cantilever panel lets operators adjust the control direction mid-job, and a "mono-block"

frame ensures stability under sustained heavy cutting.

Positioned for the sintered-stone and home-decorating industries, the machine handles integrated sinks, countertops, kitchen islands, dining

tables and custom shapes. As demand for precision, automated waterjet processing grows, the GW1150 extends Ganger CNC's turnkey

offering to high-end fabricators worldwide.
