A GQ-35ESM five-axis bridge saw has been installed, calibrated and handed over to a Spanish stone processing customer, adding a new working
reference for the company's CNC cutting range in Southern Europe. The machine is now running on the customer's own production schedule.
Built around a 3,500 × 2,000 × 500 mm working envelope, the 29 kW cutting centre handles natural stone, porcelain slab and engineered quartz.
An integrated camera supports slab nesting , while its CNC system drives drilling, polishing, sink cut-outs, arcs, polygons and free-form contours.
Commissioning covered mechanical levelling, spindle alignment, servo tuning and vacuum-circuit checks, followed by several days of hands-on
instruction. Operators and programmers were trained on the CAD/CNC interface — importing drawings, nesting layouts, tool-path simulation,
5-axis profiling and routine maintenance.
"The training was as valuable as the machine itself," the plant supervisor noted at acceptance. The successful start-up reinforces the company's
local-response model in Europe — remote diagnostics, stocked spare parts and Spanish-language technical support — and sets the template
for further installations across Iberia.
